CORLAN WESTMERE
Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026.
1. Scope and contact
This Policy explains how WESTMERE handles personal information when people use WESTMERE Companion, WESTMERE Private, the Advisor Network, the website, support and related services. The public WESTMERE identity is Corlan Westmere. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to contact@corlanwestmere.com.
2. Information we may process
Depending on the service used, this can include account and contact details; subscription and payment references; conversations, instructions and uploaded content; voice or audio inputs; usage, device and security information; preferences and personalization settings; customer-support communications; Advisor attribution, training, commission and payout information; and information a user voluntarily chooses to provide for wellness, habits, goals or other WESTMERE features.
3. Sensitive information
Some optional WESTMERE features can involve information that is sensitive under local law. WESTMERE does not require users to provide sensitive information unless a feature genuinely needs it. Where applicable law requires explicit consent or another specific legal condition, that condition must be satisfied before the relevant processing is relied upon.
4. Why information is used
Information can be used to provide and personalize the service, authenticate accounts, generate requested AI experiences, manage subscriptions and allowances, process payments, attribute Advisor sales, calculate commissions, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, provide support, comply with legal obligations, improve reliability and understand how WESTMERE features perform.
5. Legal bases
Where laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, processing can rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override user rights, or consent where consent is the appropriate basis. Consent can be withdrawn where the processing depends on it, without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
6. AI processing
WESTMERE uses AI systems to generate responses, personalize experiences, analyze requested content and support product features. AI outputs can be imperfect. WESTMERE does not treat an AI-generated assessment as a substitute for a regulated professional decision. Material decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are not made solely by an automated WESTMERE model unless the applicable legal conditions and disclosures are satisfied.
7. Service providers
WESTMERE may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, email, payments, fraud prevention, analytics and operational support. Depending on the feature or payment method, providers can include Vercel, Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe and PayPal. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and are subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
8. International transfers
WESTMERE is international and some providers operate in multiple countries. Where a cross-border transfer requires safeguards, WESTMERE relies on the mechanism applicable to that transfer, such as an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
9. Retention
Personal information is retained for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, account continuity, legal and tax obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling and enforcement of contractual rights. Different categories can have different retention periods. Data can also be retained longer where required by law or a legitimate dispute-preservation obligation.
10. Security
WESTMERE uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including access controls, authenticated accounts, provider security controls and separation of privileged operational access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
11. User rights
Depending on the applicable law, users can have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a competent supervisory authority. WESTMERE applies the rights that are mandatory in the user's jurisdiction and may verify identity before completing a request.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies are handled under the separate Cookie Policy. Non-essential trackers that require consent are not treated as accepted merely because a person continues browsing.
Cookie Policy13. Changes
WESTMERE can update this Policy when services, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes are communicated where applicable law requires notice or renewed consent.
